The Week in Flux - 11/05

Folk Rockers Charlie and the Rays head north to The Firefly Lounge in Bellingham to share an excellent bill with fellow Seattleites, The Dip.

If you live in the area and haven't heard The Charlies yet, listen to their album and then go get tickets!

Gibraltar, Trick Candles and Adra Boo have all been announced as participants in the 7th annual Artist Home New Year's Eve Show at The Neptune Theater! See the whole lineup and get tickets because they're gonna go fast!

My Summer as a Goth premiered to a sold out audience in Portland at the Northwest Film Center on Halloween. The film opened the #NWFest45 festival.

Jana Cushman of dark pop band Darkswoon served as music director for "MSAG" and selected The Spider Ferns track Worlds Will Fall as well as music from TSF friends Golden Gardens.

On hand for the premiere was director Tara Johnson-Medinger and The Spider Ferns themselves. The Spider Ferns were particularly taken with Darkswoon's live performance in the film and felt it was a beautiful hat tip to cult classic "The Hunger", which featured an iconic performance from Bauhaus.
