It's Capitol Hill Block Party weekend and that means the FLUX is in full effect!

We are extremely proud to co-host, moderate, in conjunction with NadaMucho.com, the Capitol Hill Block Party Artist Panels on Saturday, July 20th at The Riveter. Nothing is more important to a successful artistic career than awareness. These panels are designed to elevate, inform and inspire the Seattle music community to come closer together, share stories, and see how we can help each other. 12pm - 1pm Panel 1: Strategies for Band Management

How do you know when you’re ready for a label, and what labels are looking for in 2019? This is a continuation of our ‘Strategies’ series, which educates local musicians on how to survive and thrive. Topics will include: how labels have changed, debunking common misconceptions about how labels work for artists, the changing landscape of representation, and what artists can do to stand out.

1:15pm-2:15pm Panel 2: Mental Health at Home and on the Road

Topics will include how to address and move beyond conflating identity with work and achievements, where to find mental health resources, and self-care at home and on the road.

  • Black Giraffe provide musical input to Lo Flux friend Blazinspace as their new monthly show "The Best You've Ever Seen" kicks off at Parliament Tavern in West Seattle on Saturday, July 27th. Get info
